21st Aug. 08′ With a group of friends during our puffing session, from left Ng, Eddie, Choong and Halim. The Wine dinner started with Sauvignon Blanc 05′, it is a warm up drink and follow with The Chardonnay 05′ with a beautiful nose and mild body. Seriusly we are expecting a fine matching of wine and dine.
The Quail with Truffle Jus match with Founder’s Block Shiraz 05′, i would giv a 90 to the Quail but the Shiraz is still young (acidic) and i would suggest to keep for a while.
The Resberry Granite, a mouth washing before the main dish. Medium taste with some texture of Resberry and the tempreture is perfect while it reaches my table.
The main dish, Rack of Lamb with Porcini Mushroom is a tumbs up on our table which matches with The Cabenet Sauvignon 04′, not a word but with series of high and low Mm…..
Selection of Cheese with Roqueford, Rouy, Brie, Camembert and Tete De Monte match with Prodigy Shiraz 04′, any wine started with cheese, it will never go wrong. a wise matching !!
Hazelnut Pudding served with Vanilla Praline Ice Cream and Chocolate Mousse. i would say the food is good and ‘The View’ did a fine job, worth my Ringgit but the wine selection is just fair….
